Retail Loan Product Analyst II

Position Summary:

The Retail Loan Product Analyst II is responsible for supporting and promoting the retail loan product. This role involves supporting the automotive retail loan product by providing detailed analysis and creation of critical documents, guidelines, documentation, and marketing material. Responsible for coordinating the development of retail loan strategy, systems, policies, technological integration, and other requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth business analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities that inform product strategy and decision-making.
  • Develop polished, executive-level presentations that effectively communicate insights and recommendations to C-suite stakeholders.
  • Monitor and evaluate product performance using KPIs and recommend data-driven optimizations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support critical projects required in launching managing the product, retail loan documentation, and creating best practices for on-going efforts.
  • Support day-to-day efforts with Retail Product Team and needs of operational groups including Sales to meet retail loan targets and goals.
  • Maintain and develop appropriate retail loan product guidelines and documentation for product and operational activities.
  • Aid in design of workflows, facilitates technology integration and manages vendor relationships to enhance retail loan product operational efforts.
  • Assist with developing reporting to monitor retail loan portfolio performance & policies, operational effectiveness, and other retail loan-specific requirements.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in auto lending or leasing, focus on product analysis, loan program development, and cross-functional collaboration in areas such as strategy, systems, policy, and marketing.

Education:

  • High school diploma and or GED

Skills Required:

  • Possesses advanced to mastery-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and business analysis methodologies.
  • Skilled in data mining, report creation, and translating complex data into actionable insights
  • Demonstrated ability to develop high-impact, executive-level presentations for C-suite audiences, and perform comprehensive analytical work to support strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, teamwork, and time management abilities.

Overtime required – N/A.

Travel 10-20% - is required on an as needed basis.

Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Houston, TX.

Qualifications Preferred:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred in Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Schedule This position requires the ability to work various shifts to accommodate business needs. Typically, between the hours of 8AM-6PM Monday through Friday and on weekends as needed. Travel may be required 10% of the time.
