Process Engineer Analyst II

Department: 45- Remarketing
Location: Dallas, TX

Position Summary:

The Process Engineer Analyst II plays a critical role in driving operational excellence within the Remarketing division of our auto finance company. This role is responsible for analyzing, designing, and improving business processes to enhance vehicle remarketing efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer and dealer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a passion for process improvement, and experience working in cross-functional environments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze current remarketing processes to identify areas for improvement and increased efficiency
  • Design and implement process enhancements using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, QA, and business stakeholders to align process changes
  • Develop and maintain documentation for workflows, SOPs, and process maps
  • Support the deployment and optimization of task tracking tools (e.g., Monday.com, Jira)
  • Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to evaluate process effectiveness
  • Assist in risk assessment and prioritization using scoring matrices
  • Maintain historical data and lessons learned for continuous improvement
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis and trend identification

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in process engineering, business analysis, or operations within a corporate environment
  • Experience in remarketing, automotive, or related industries preferred
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and managing cross-functional projects
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with auction platforms (e.g., ADESA, Manheim) and vehicle valuation tools is a plus.

Education:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma

Skills Required:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in process mapping tools and data analysis (Excel, Power BI, etc.)
  • Experience with task tracking platforms (e.g., Monday.com, Jira)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Travel 0-10% - as required on an as needed basis.
  • Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Dallas, TX.

Qualifications Preferred:

  • Experience with auto remarketing operations or vehicle lifecycle management.
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines related to vehicle sales and finance.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards in remarketing (e.g., condition grading, title processing).

Work Schedule This position requires the ability to work various shifts to accommodate business needs. Typically, between the hours of 8AM-6PM Monday through Friday and on weekends as needed. Travel is required 10% of the time.
